Introduction

Hi, my name is Christina. My five year old pekingese, Coco, is extremely friendly and playful towards both humans and dogs. We look forward to meeting you and your beloved pekes!

What is your pekingese's favorite food? favorite toy?

Coco enjoys all different types of foods ranging from white rice to sweets. She LOVES to eat fruits, especially pears and watermelon. Her favorite game is to play tug of war with a string or with my socks.

What other pets do you have? How do they get along with your pekingese?

I also have a beagle named Guan Ming. Guan Ming is very mild tempered and gets along very well with his little sister, Coco. However, Guan Ming is shy and cautious around new dogs, so it takes him longer than Coco to adjust.

Does your pekingese have any health or behavior that maybe we could help improve?

Please tell us about your pekingese, name, age, and a cute little story about what they do that makes them so adorable.

Coco is a five year old reddish-tan colored pekingese. I bought her from a big pet store in Coram, NY. Originally, I was interested in buying a daschund for my mother as a birthday gift. But as my family and I were on our way out of the pet shop, my mom and sister spotted Coco. Her three siblings were barking nonstop in their shared crate, except for tiny Coco. Stuck in a corner, Coco looked at us with her sad puppy dog eyes. So we couldn't resist and took Coco out to pet her. Shortly afterwards, we knew she had to go home with us.
