Hello, I am Susan Pileggi, Organizer of
The Greater Philadelphia Chihuahua & Small Breed Meetup.
We formed this club so that our tiny companions would have a safe and friendly place to play with other dogs their own size. Besides offering the usual Meetup fare of Friendship and Socialization for our tiny dogs,
We also hope to provide Information and Tips on
Canine Nutrition, Health Care, Training, Grooming
and other timely issues affecting our little companions.

Several times a year, we hope to provide Expert Speakers on various timely subjects along with Workshops, Parties, Picnics and Fun Field Trips!
We will also keep our calendar current with the local "Canine Happenings" around town.

I have been in the Animal Health field for over 30 years,
first as a Licensed Animal Health Technician at a prominent Philadelphia suburban Surgical Referral Practice and later as a
Manager of a National Veterinary Pharmaceutical Distributor.
I hope that as our little ones play, we can discuss the latest issues that are affecting our tiny companions.






Our group supports rescue, promotes education and the responsibility to spay and neuter our pets. It is our wish not to add to the overpopulation of dogs in shelters through the irresponsible breeding of pets. Therefore, we do not condone the breeding of pets, believing it wiser to leave breeding to those people who study and research breeds and do so to in an effort to improve their breed.
